From Classical Pianists to a Global Phenomenon:

Emilio Piano

"Music is a great love of mine and the way I express myself creatively. Transforming emotions, thoughts, and stories into sounds and music pieces, thus creating a direct bridge to those around me, brings me immense joy. Music and the piano are, for me, a universal language with which I can directly connect and communicate with all cultures of the world. Personally, music is the greatest gift of my life, and I am more than grateful for it."

Emil Jean Joachim Reinert, known as "Emilio Piano," was born on July 4, 1994, in Paris and holds both German and French citizenship. His great passion for the musical arts, particularly the piano, developed early in his childhood and was generously fostered and supported by his family.

Emil Reinert received a top-tier musical education. From 2005 to 2012, he studied at the Hector Berlioz Conservatory in the piano class of Prof. Adam Wibrowski. After completing his scientific high school diploma with highest honors in 2012, he continued his studies at the Regional Conservatory of Paris and the Schola Cantorum. There, he was taught by Gabriel Tacchino, the only student of Francis Poulenc, and graduated from both institutions with top honors in 2014.

Additionally, he furthered his education in numerous masterclasses, including with Julian Martin, James Giles, Dominique Weber, José Ramon Méndes, Ilya Itin, and Jean-Marc Luisada. In 2014, he began his bachelor’s degree at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre with Prof. Hubert Rutkowski, where he also started his master’s degree in 2018, successfully completing it in 2019.

Since 2022, Emil has also established himself as a global music influencer, active on social media under the artist’s name "Emilio Piano". What started as a small and modest idea in Paris has rapidly developed into a global phenomenon.

Emil Reinert says: "The idea came to me spontaneously at home while I was playing the piano. In that moment, this thought grew, and I started working on it, developing the idea and bringing it to life step by step. I want to motivate young and adult people with my actions and videos to make music, learn an instrument, and also listen to more music. Music is a cultural asset and a wonderful way to connect across borders and share a certain feeling together. It's amazing, and it brings people from so many different countries and cultures together on my channels."

As "Emilio Piano" he combines classical music or current and globally renowned artists with modern and contemporary staging approaches in his videos. What makes it special is that it takes place in a direct and interactive moment in the public space, where the audience doesn't know what will happen next. The world and its millions of places, like cafes, restaurants, train stations, and public squares, are his stage. There, "Emilio Piano" reaches a broad and diverse audience. "Emilio Piano" has now become one of the most successful music influencers worldwide with over 35 million followers. In the last 24 months, he has successfully produced viral videos with artists such as Grammy winners Teddy Swims and Ibrahim Maalouf, Lindsey Stirling, David Kushner, Ray Chen, JVKE, and others. Further notable collaborations are planned.

Currently, Emil Reinert is working in Warsaw and Paris on his debut solo album, which will be released later this year.
